Alisha lives at Mencurem, Bicholim. Her father died when she was a student of VIII th class. Her mother was a housewife and worked as a casual labourer whenever possible, to earn some money for the family. Her elder brother was a student of final year graduation. The amount of money which her mother earned was not sufficient for the family to survive. Alisha was selected for ISEAF scholarship in the year 2014. Her sponsor was Mrs. Martina Griesenbach. Alisha completed her graduation and got her diploma in electrical engineering passing with good marks. Now Alisha is working as a trainer in “General Electrical Company”, at Pune, Maharashtra. Alisha is extremely happy that in spite of all the difficulties faced, she worked hard and ISEAF together with her sponsor helped her to mould her future.
