My name is Ankita. I live at Mayem, Bicholim. My father Ashok is a casual laborer and my mother is a housewife. We were three members in our family. The only source of income was what my father gets from his daily wages. Our financial situation was very bad, and I was in need of money to pursue my education. I came to know about the ISEAF which was helping poor students like me. I applied for a scholarship in the year 2010 and I was selected. I completed my M. Pharm with a scholarship provided by Indian Students Educational Aid Foundation.
My sponsors were Mrs. Dorothe & Mr. Heinz Jansen. Presently, I am working as a ‘Trainee Chemist’ at “Geno Pharmaceuticals Ltd”, Karaswada Thivim Industrial Estate. I am grateful to my sponsors and Indian Students Educational Aid Foundation for all the help and encouragement.
