My name is Mahesh. I live at Korgao, Pernem. My father Mahipati is a labourer & mother is a house wife. We were five members in our family. The only source of income was what my father gets from his job. As he did not have regular work, our financial situation was very bad. Besides, I and my younger brother & elder sister were students and we were in need of money to pursue our education. Fortunately Indian Students Educational Aid Foundation which was helping poor students like me had its office in Siolim. I applied for scholarship and I was selected. This was in the year 2010. I completed my graduation and post- graduation in mathematics with the scholarship provided by ISEAF. My education was sponsored by Mrs. Helga Schmitz. Presently I am working as an assistant mathematics professor at Government College, Quepem.
