My name is Sushila. I live at Bicholim. My father deserted the family when I was very small. My mother looked after me and my younger sister. My mother started working as a domestic help but what she earned was not sufficient for our education. Understanding my family’s financial condition our principal gave me ISEAF scholarship form. Fortunately I was selected for this scholarship and my sponsor was Mrs. Christel Mueller who helped me financially not only for studies, but also she provided me with a monthly family assistance till I completed my education.
I completed my post-graduation successfully and presently working as a lecturer in Dempo College at Panaji. I am getting a decent salary and with this I can look after my family. I am very grateful to my sponsor Mrs. Christel Muller who supported me financially throughout my education.
