AT KEERTI VIDYALAYA
The Programme was held on 31st March 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Keerti Vidyalaya Pvt. ITI, Siolim.
Mr. & Mrs. Jacob were welcomed traditionally by Mrs. Kavita Kannaik (KVTI) and Mrs. Vaibhavi Bhosle (BTI).
The teaching and non-teaching staff of both KVTI and BTI were present for the function. The Headmaster of Keerti Vidyalaya School Mr. Sudesh Kochrekar and the Manager of the school Mr. Paramanand Mandrekar also graced the function.
Mrs. Cynthia Alvares compared the entire programme.
The Programme began with an opening song “YOU RAISE ME UP”. Mrs. Cynthia Alvares welcomed all the guests. Flower pots were presented to Mr. & Mrs. Jacob.
Principal of KVTI, Mr. Adrian Fernandes spoke about the progress of ISEAF Organisation and all three institutes under ISEAF. He ended his few words while getting emotional.
Principal of BTI, Mr. Yeshwant Naik shared his experiences of BTI Institute and also with Mr. Jacob.
Headmaster of Keerti Vidyalaya School, Mr. Sudesh Kochrekar in his speech commended Mr. & Mrs. Jacob for their contribution to ISEAF which has also brought fame to Keerti Vidyalaya School.
As a token of love a cake was cut by the retiring couple.
Mrs. Jacob in her speech recalled the ex- staff members who contributed to the progress of ISEAF especially Mrs. Ann Rasquinha for her contribution of Home Nursing Text book which was instrumental in introducing the Home Nursing course and used by many other institutes all over Goa. She also mentioned Hilario D’Souza of Hotel Management trade, Mrs. Serafina Fernandes of Home Nursing Bureau, Mr. Savio Barros of RAC trade and Mr. Kalidas Kochrekar of COPA trade.
Mr. Jacob in his speech recounted the hurdles he encountered while getting government recognition for the courses started in 1995 in BTI, Palye.
Refreshments were served by KVTI staff.
Manager of Keerti Vidyalaya School, Mr. Parmanand Mandrekar conveyed his gratitude to Mr. & Mrs. Jacob.
Mr. Cyril Remedios said the closing prayer thanking GOD for blessing us with Mr. & Mrs. Jacob’s presence.
A closing prayer song, a Karaoke “MAY THE GOOD LORD BLESS YOU” —- Jim Reeves” was played.
